Meet Dr. Frederick Shelton

Dr. Frederick Charles Shelton is a native of Chicago Illinois but currently lives in Columbus, Mississippi. He is a retired Chief of Police, a veteran of the United States Army, speaker, trainer, results coach and serves as a volunteer chaplain.

• Member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team

Dr. Shelton's educational background and credentials allows him to be an active facilitator for developing quality leadership and personal growth programs that promote effective relationships and teamwork amongst staff, team leaders and program participants. Dr. Shelton has dedicated himself to developing and training leaders at all levels. He is an entrepreneur and has successfully started two businesses, Peace Be Still Outreach Center (501c3) a Christian Counseling and Mental Health Coaching business as well as ESS Consulting and Training,LLC. Currently, he serves as Executive Director for both organizations. He enjoys spending his spare time with family and traveling across the country. Dr. Frederick Shelton is committed to being a lifelong learner and his motto is, "Meet the need."
